VTS help you monitor the position of a vehicle, across the globe, using GPS tracking and predefined maps. It helps to route the vehicles, generate alarm messages in case of accidents and emergencies, and generate MIS reports.

Material Handling System

Material Handling System is used to track the movement of vehicles entering/leaving the plant. It also records weights and provides reports about vehicle movement. It is based on the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

It provides features like 24x7 availability by fail-over support with dual server and HeartBeat module, tracking of vehicles at way-points using RFID technology, various alarms including weight error alarms, overstay alarm, invalid vehicle alarm, system trouble alarm, etc. This system also has automatic controlling of signals at way-points, hooter notifications in case of alarms, hierarchical access levels for better system security, etc. It interfaces with EDP for synchronizing work orders and material movement details.

Technologies and hardware used to develop Material Handling System are J2EE (Servlets/JSP), RMI, Swing, JDBC, Shell script, UDP, FINS protocol, XML, RFID receivers and RFID tags, PLCs.
